The scheme is run by the Jagonari Women's Resource Centre based in Whitechapel, East London. It provides free bicycle training courses and a pool of bright orange Dutch-style bikes for use by local women.

History

Jagonari Cycles was set up in March 2005 with funding from London Cycling Campaign and bikes were provided by the ‘good going’ campaign.

In July 2005 the scheme won the best 'good going' event at Transport for London's Sustainable Transport Awards.
