Product
iMapWeather merges weather information with social content onto a Google Maps map. Users of the site are able to upload images, video and twitter style "bursts".
The bar at the top of the map allows the user a large degree of customisation over what is displayed on the map, such as weather warnings, as well as buoys and the weather at their location.
History
iMapWeather was released on February 07 2009.
On August 24 2009 iMapWeather was adopted as the weather forecaster by the third largest radio broadcaster in the US. [1]
