Home brew street view camera
PhotoTrail was created by Roy D. Ragsdale, as a prototype 360 degree image capturer. The U.S. Army is currently evaluating its use in field operations.
The cameras and a GPS unit are linked to a small computer, which can then take note of the location the images, which are combined into a panorama, recording its geographic location using GPicSync.
