Contents |
Product
Go_Sync allows for two way communication between OpenStreetMap and the transport authority's data.
It works as an importer to OpenStreetMap, which means that community contact and discussion should be engaged in before use by a data holder. The changes made to the uploaded data in OpenStreetMap is reported to the uploader so that they can see improvements to be made to the data.
History
GO_Sync is being developed as part of the "Enabling Cost-Effective Multimodal Trip Planners through Open Transit Data" project, which in turn is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation. [1]
