Freewheelers provides a free-to-use online site aimed at facilitating ride sharing by connecting drivers and passengers.

Users of Freewheelers can search a list of available journeys and post their own car journeys to the list. Logged in members can then contact other users in order to plan a shared journey. Users can also add destinations and dates which are cross referenced to other users destinations and dates to show users potential ride sharers.
It is registered on the Data Protection Register.
