Call a Bike provides internet and phone book-able automated bicycle hire in Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe. This service is provided by Deutsche Bahn AG.

Product
Users can register online or by phone. Bikes are then available for hire at the major train stations within the available cities. Users are given a code to enter to unlock a bicycle and then charged per minute of cycling time. Depending on the system in place in each location the bike must either be returned to the original lock up or its location reported by phone for pick up.
History
The scheme has been in operation since spring 2008.
